As per long founded tradition the Old Edwardians' Association Annual Dinner will be held at Baldwins Omega, Psalter Lane, Sheffield.
The cost this year for the usual four course dinner will be £35.00.
We are delighted that this years guest speaker is a huge supporter of the Association, His Honour Judge Robert Moore.
His Honour Judge Robert Jeffery Moore has been a Circuit Judge in Sheffield for 21 years and married into ‘The Old Edwardian’s family. His wife of nearly 40 years Susan (nee Hatcliffe) attended the school from 1970 to 1975 together with her siblings. Susan appeared in the 1975 school play “ Hobson’s Choice” with Graham Fellows et al – see KESMAG 1975.
Judge Moore is due to take mandatory retirement in February 2017 prior to the Old Edwardian’s annual dinner and we are sure he will keep everyone entertained with his wide variety of stories and experiences gained during some 46 years in the law, covering numerous high profile criminal and civil cases, some making front page news.
During Robert’s 21 years as a Circuit Judge he has managed every official or informal social or ceremonial occasion enjoyed by the Sheffield Combined Judiciary. This is now affectionately known as, “Doing a Robert Moore”. We can now all look forward to him be doing the same for us at our next dinner!
